KCC Architectural fabricated, supplied and installed a steel fire resistant curtain wall system to the building undercroft. The Fire Resistant Curtain Wall system measured approx 140 metres long and 3m high completely surrounding and providing fire protection to the escalators. Fire Resistant sliding doors were provided at the entrance and exit points. The system was fabricated using our Schuco Jansen Steel Glazing System.
KCC Architectural is able to offer bespoke glazing solutions in steel for structural or fire safety requirements where aluminium systems cannot meet the stringent structural or fire protection requirements.
